NOTD: Your Villa or Mine by O.P.I.

Heeeyy...! It's been a while. Today, I'm going to share with you my Monday nails. I used my O.P.I. nail polish that I barely use. It's been in my manicure kit sitting for so many months already. Since it is now officially summer, I got inspired to color my nails so summery.

I applied 2 coats only.

O.P.I. Your Villa or Mine is a very gorgeous color for summer. It's a peachy colar with a bit shimmer of gold! How about you? What's your summer color?

FOTD: Green is the color of the day by LOUJENE

Shirt by St. John's Bay

Last Sunday, I get bonded with my in-laws. I don't often see them and I get flattered when my Mom-in-law said that my skin is glowing and I'm looking fairer compared to the last time she saw me. I said that we intentionally don't go out under the sun nowadays because we wanted to get a nice line of tan this coming summer. Lol!

For today's post, I've used for the very first time a lovely make-up palette from LOUJENE - a Japanese make-up brand.

LOUJENE

For this look, below is the lists of the products that I've used.

For the face:

- Myra Daily Sun Protect Facial Moisturizer SPF 15

- Palladium Natural Rice oil-absorbing rice powder

For the eyes:

- LOUJENE 9-colors eyeshadow palette

- NYX eyeshadow base

- IN2IT eyebrow kit

- ELF eye widener pencil in Pearl

- Maybelline Hyper Curl Volum Express mascara

The eye shadows are shimmer wash and some are semi-mattes. Love!

I love earth colors!

1. I applied it all over my lids up to the brow bone.

2. I applied it in the inner third of my lids just up to the crease.

3. I applied it on the outer part/ outer-V of my lid.

4. I applied it in the inner corners of my eyes on top of the ELF eye widener in Pearl.

Fyi, I applied my Bobbi Brown in Espresso to darken my outer-V.

For the cheeks:

- Avon lip & cheek tint

- NYX Blush 

For the lips:

- Ever Bilena matte lipstick in Pink Flame

- Wet 'n Wild in 511B or Noveau Pink

I combined the two (2) shades of the lipsticks. I applied first the Wet 'n Wild, and then I blot it with tissue. I did it twice for the Noveau Pink. Next, I applied the Ever Bilena on top of it. 

Nice result of the combi, eh?

Outfit: The Farm Life

I love the laid-back life in Tagaytay. 

Right outside our villa resort, there's a small pineapple plantation. My hubby brought me outside and we did a photoshoot along the very narrow road. I gladly agreed, of course. I've had applied sunblock in my face anyway.

The water was cold.

We celebrated Valentines in a laid-back style. It was really relaxing yet romantic. We heard chicken crows and birds tweeting everywhere. Reminds me of farm life when I was young and living with my father in the farm. I really missed the farm life.

Soon enough and we packed going back to Manila - the reality. We stopped over in Nuvali in Sta. Rosa Laguna. After eating lunch, we spent a little more time around the area.

Outfit: V-Date in Tagaytay

Crosswinds Tagaytay

It's been a month since I last posted. A lot of things have been occupying me lately. I've been very busy with work and other stuffs. Anyway, I had a break and had a stress-free day with my hubby even the Valentines Day fell on a working day. While most of the people are working, I and hubby celebrated the Heart's Day in the 2nd Summer Capital of our country - Tagaytay.

Tagaytay City can be cold more than you expected sometimes. Though it is nice to feel the cold breeze hugging your face and body; it could be freezing sometimes. A scarf will always be a savior at times. 


This is what I wore in the morning going to Tagaytay. For me, there is nothing comfy than wearing a shorts or jumpsuits. We reached there at 7:30 am and the fog was at its thickest especially in Tagaytay's highest peak - the People's Park in the Sky.

 We settled in our resort villa after sight seeing from the nearby places. I changed my outfit for dinner time and my hubby did a practice shooting again around the resort. There are only few guests so it's like we owned the resort that time (camera clicks everywhere). :)

Outfit of the Day: A hint of Tangerine

Hey guys! One fine Sunday, I and hubby spent our afternoon in Fort Bonifacio. This time, we spent most of our time walking down along the clean streets of Global City. Since it was weekend and there were no many people around the streets (except in Bonifacio High Streets); we thought of a quick photo shoot. 

This is what I wore.

The color of the 2012 is Tangerine; an orange. This color is seductive and dramatic. I was happy to know that I already have a tangerine purse (circa 2010); it means I am in! Yey!

My black top is actually a top with so many styles. I can style it in 4 ways.

To play safe with my tangerine bag, I opted to wear a basic solid color for my top & bottom. I was afraid to wear something with some bright colors because I don't want to end up looking like a clown. I added a thin orange belt to match my purse.

I paired it with a black wedge shoes.

Accessories

One of the things that hubby learned in photography is how to hide woman's flaws during the photo shoot. Let's admit it; we really hate it when our arms and tummy looked big in the photos. My very first and main flaw is my big arm; he directed me all what to do to make it look slimmer.
